FAQ

Do You Charge for Delivery & Pickup?

Our prices quoted above include delivery and pickup.

How Long do the Batteries Last?

Many factors come into play when determining the driving range for the day. For instance, the user’s weight relative to the scooter and its maximum weight capacity is a factor that is sometimes overlooked. Take a standard scooter, for example. A user who weighs 120 lbs will put slightly less strain on the batteries than someone who weighs 280 lbs, which is closer to the 300 lb weight capacity limit of a standard scooter. In addition, please keep in mind that the drive terrain also affects the quality of drive performance, and whether or not you are constantly driving up and downhills. All this and more must be considered and factored in when considering how far you will be able to scoot around San Diego. However, all batteries in our mobility scooters are durable, sealed lead-acid batteries that are long-lasting, providing a good charge throughout the day.

Do You Deliver to the San Diego Zoo?

Although we do not deliver directly to the zoo, we encourage all to pick up directly from our office which is just about a 15-minute drive off the I-5 freeway. We have travel scooters that can disassemble and fit in your car for easy transportation so that you can have easy access to your scooter for the San Diego Zoo. The zoo itself does not allow advanced reservations and is on a first come first serve basis. However, we accept scooter reservations for any day of the week.
